Parent Summit

On Tuesday, October 4, Pelham City Schools will host a Parent Summit themed "United for Safe Communities". The event will take place at Pelham High School and provide parents and students of all ages with straight talk on the social challenges kids face today - including substance abuse, the impact of social media and technology, underage drinking, the drug culture in our area, and more. Local law enforcement and counselors will lead break-out sessions about a variety of topics aimed to raise awareness and deter abuse before it starts.

6:00 pm - Keynote presentation by Clay Hammac, Shelby County Drug Enforcement Task Force
6:45, 7:00, 7:15, 7:30 - Break-out sessions
