The first day of school is Thursday, August 12! We can't wait to see all of our students, and we appreciate the patience, flexibility, and support of our school community. We look forward to all that we will accomplish in the new school year!

COVID 19School Operations & Instruction Plan, Face Coverings, Health & Wellness
Once again, we find ourselves dealing with the impact of COVID-19 as we begin our new school year. Our revised Back to School Operations & Instruction Plan was emailed to parents and employees on August 5. You can review the plan in full here

Based on our consultations with local health experts and a review of our current COVID-19 positive numbers compared to last year, we will be starting the school year at Level 3 Mitigation Efforts. This includes starting with required face coverings, but also includes some built in exceptions that you can read about in the Face Coverings section of the plan

We understand that there are varying perspectives on universal face coverings, but we can all agree that we care about the students and employees in our schools. It is imperative that our students see us working as a team to face the challenges of the virus, not at odds with each other.

We’re making decisions to protect our students and employees based on recommendations from health experts, so we have established expectations related to wearing face coverings in schools based on the current mitigation level. We expect that these rules—like all school rules—will be respected and followed. School administrators will provide masks for students who do not come to school with face coverings or attempt to wear face coverings that offer no protection.

Further, we ask that parents, students, and employees partner with us to help promote a healthy school environment and reduce the risk of virus transmission by self-screening each morning before coming to school or boarding a school bus. Anyone with a fever of 100.4 or higher or other COVID-19 symptoms should not go to school. Those experiencing any symptoms should contact their medical provider and not attend school. Review the COVID-19 Screening Guidance here.

Students and staff members who have a positive COVID diagnosis or are required to quarantine due to close contact should complete the COVID-19 Reporting Form located on the home page and the COVID-19 page of our website. This form should be used instead of contacting a school principal, teacher, or school nurse.

Bus stops and schedulesBus Stops & Schedules
If your student rides the bus, be sure to check the bus schedule information. Some bus numbers and times have changed since last year. To view bus stops & pick up/drop off times, click here.

Reminders: Morning pick up and afternoon drop off times are approximate. Please have your student at the stop 5 minutes before morning stop time. We ask for your patience in the first few weeks of school as we learn which students plan to ride the bus, add stops for new students, and make adjustments to routes as needed. Check for updates to times and route information and view the School Bus Rules & Expectations on the Transportation page of this website.
