A calendar committee comprised of teachers, staff, and parents recently met to create two calendar options for the upcoming 2020-2021 school year.
We are asking Pelham City Schools employees, parents, and community stakeholders to review the calendar options in the links below. After reviewing the options, please click the Calendar Survey link to complete a short survey and select the calendar option that you view as most beneficial to our school system.
Two notes: 1) On Calendar Option 1, Friday, April 9th is listed as a Virtual School Day for students. Students will utilize online learning platforms such as Google Classroom to access and complete lessons corresponding to typical subject area assignments. Students will not attend school on this day. 2) Students do not attend school on days noted as Flex Professional Development. Those are days earmarked for professional development opportunities for our teachers and staff.
The 2020-2021 Calendar Survey will be open until Monday, February 17. After the survey timeframe closes, the results will be submitted to the superintendent and the Pelham City Schools Board of Education. The calendar will be discussed and voted on at the Board of Education meeting on February 24.
