Immunization Requirement for 6th Graders

All students 11 and older entering the 6th grade in Alabama schools are required to have a tetanus-diphtheria-acellular pertussis (Tdap) vaccine. The Tdap vaccine will protect adolescents from pertussis and keep them from spreading disease to siblings, other family members, and other students.
If you are not sure if your child has received this vaccine, please contact their medical provider. You will need to provide an updated certificate of Immunization (COI) to Pelham Park Middle School before school starts. Details here.
