There’s No Place Like “Home Sweet Hoco!”

Pelham Homecoming Week is set for September 28–October 3, with activities that bring together students, families, alumni, and community members from across Pelham.

Students and staff from all schools can look forward to candy and sweets-themed dress-up days throughout the week. Check communications from schools for specific details.

Homecoming week activities will also include PowderPuff flag football and reverse volleyball games at Pelham High School, the varsity football game against Chilton County, the introduction of the Homecoming Court and Homecoming Queen and King during the game, and the annual Panther Prowl Parade and Community Pep Rally.

We invite our entire community to join us throughout the week and bring the Panther Pride that makes Pelham Homecoming so special!

Pelham Panthers Spirit Shirts

We’re once again offering a homecoming shirt for students of all ages, parents, and community members.

Place your order by Thursday, September 24 to receive shirts in time for the homecoming football game!

Panther Prowl Parade and Community Pep Rally

The Panther Prowl Parade will begin at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 1, and will last approximately 30 minutes.

The parade will begin at the Pelham Parks & Recreation entrance off Bearden Road. It will proceed along Bearden Road and end at the entrance to Pelham High School.

The parade will feature a variety of groups from Pelham High School, Pelham Park Middle School, and Pelham Parks & Recreation youth sports.

Following the parade, the Community Pep Rally will begin at approximately 6:30 p.m. at Ned Bearden Stadium at Pelham High School. The event will feature performances and team introductions, concessions, Pelham merchandise for sale in the Panther Den, and more.

Sharing the Spirit: Kindergarten–Senior Walk

We’re continuing a special homecoming tradition that connects two important milestones in the Pelham City Schools experience.

Near the end of the Community Pep Rally, Pelham High School seniors and PCS kindergarten students will be invited to opposite ends of the football field. They will walk toward midfield, where the kindergarten students will be greeted by the seniors and receive a small gift as Panther Pride is passed from one generation to the next.

Kindergarten and senior students and their families should check their email for information from their schools about how to register.
