Since joining Pelham High School in 1999, Kiel has served in a variety of roles—including coach, athletic director, assistant principal, principal, and now assistant superintendent—bringing steady leadership to each position and developing programs that support students and schools at every level.
Her influence extends beyond Pelham, as she has contributed to high school athletics across Alabama through her leadership and service with the AHSAA.
Kiel was formally recognized during a ceremony in Montgomery on March 23, where she was honored alongside other coaches and administrators from across the state.
Pelham City Schools is grateful for her leadership and proud to see her recognized among the state’s most respected leaders in high school athletics.
