Free Breakfast for All Students

This school year, all Pelham City Schools students can enjoy free breakfast before the school day begins thanks to grant funding awarded to the district. Breakfast is available beginning at 7:15 a.m. each school day.

The universal breakfast program provides every student with access to a nutritious breakfast, regardless of household income.

"We're excited to offer this opportunity to all of our students," said Child Nutrition Program Director Dr. Janie Clay. "A healthy breakfast helps students begin the day focused, energized, and prepared for learning."

While breakfast is free for all students this school year, lunch is not free for all students. Families are encouraged to complete the Free and Reduced-Price Meal Application to determine eligibility for free or reduced-price lunch. In addition, the information collected through these applications helps determine funding for important educational programs and services that benefit students across the district.

Click over to the Child Nutrition Program page for application and details. Families only need to complete one application per household.
