Pelham City Schools Superintendent Dr. Keri Johnson joined a distinguished group of Samford University alumni as one of eight recipients of the university’s 2026 Learning for Life Award.

Dr. Johnson earned her Doctor of Education degree from Samford in 2014. Her selection recognizes the impact she has made through her work with students, educators, schools, and the communities she has served throughout her career.

Established in 2015 by Samford’s Orlean Beeson School of Education, the Learning for Life Award honors alumni who exemplify servant leadership and a commitment to lifelong learning. Dr. Johnson received the award during the annual Learning for Life Awards Dinner on August 19.
