Educators and school counselors from across central and north Alabama flew aboard a KC-135R Stratotanker, experienced the boom simulator, and toured key areas of the base—gaining firsthand insight into the day-to-day operations of this Birmingham-based unit.
Experiences like this strengthen connections between education and real-world careers while highlighting leadership, teamwork, and service. We're grateful to the 117th Air Refueling Wing for welcoming our educators and sharing their mission.

Congratulations to Abinav from Pelham Oaks ,and Aadhya from Pelham Ridge for representing their schools at the regional spelling bee.
After winning their schoolwide competitions, both students advanced to compete at the regional level—a wonderful accomplishment that reflects their hard work, dedication, and love of learning. We are proud of them for representing Pelham City Schools so well!

Chosen through a blind selection process, these students exemplify musical excellence for music educators from across Alabama. Their performance, Hearts Touch With Fire, reflects months of dedication, creativity, and hard work—both in and out of the classroom.
We are incredibly proud of our students and fine arts program for showcasing the best of Pelham City Schools. 💚
