📍 Pelham High School Gymnasium
Bring the whole family out for a fun evening of trick-or-treating, candy, costumes, and Panther Pride!
Our basketball program, along with local businesses and community organizations, will have tables set up for kids to trick-or-treat throughout the gym!
Costumes are encouraged, but NO MASKS will be allowed.
Put on your favorite Halloween costume, grab your candy bucket, and come enjoy a great night with the Pelham community!

We encourage all Pelham City Schools parents to make plans to attend the Love Like Lexi Parent Assembly:

The evening will focus on suicide prevention awareness, mental wellness, and ways parents can be a positive source of support for their children. It’s an opportunity to learn more, ask questions, and strengthen the conversations and connections that help our children feel supported.
The parent assembly is open to parents from all PCS schools, regardless of where their children attend. PPMS students will attend a separate student assembly on October 21.

Families looking for additional academic support can access Homework Alabama, a free online resource available to people across the state. The program connects students with qualified tutors and provides:
One-on-one tutoring in more than 200 subjects, with many available in Spanish
Help for students from elementary school through college
Drop-off math and essay review services
Writing feedback on grammar, organization, citations, and more
SAT®, ACT®, AP®, and more test-preparation resources
Practice quizzes, video lessons, and other self-paced learning tools
Live tutoring is available seven days a week with no appointment needed. Students can connect from any internet-enabled device while in Alabama.

PCS ConnectED is underway!
Our first class came together last night, and the energy and engagement in the room made it a great start! Participants began by meeting others in the group and discovering connections and common ground. They also learned more about Pelham City Schools through presentations on our school system, the role of the Board of Education, and how our schools are funded.
This is what PCS ConnectED is all about: bringing people together to build connections, encourage collaboration, and gain a deeper understanding of our school system. We’re looking forward to continuing the conversation and exploring different aspects of PCS each month!
