Curriculum and Instruction is in charge of developing a comprehensive instructional program that fosters critical thinking and develops college and career ready students. This task impacts all students, English Learners, Career and Technical course and classroom teachers.

With a focus on rigorous and relevant academic initiatives, our vertical K-12 alignment supports core standards and programs that provide innovative and engaging learning experiences for students of all ages.

  • We facilitate an integrated approach to teaching Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) through the Project Lead the Way curriculum in classes from kindergarten through high school.
  • A variety of academic offerings are designed to meet the unique needs of all students through exceptional education, gifted education, advanced and AP courses, English language development, dual enrollment, virtual learning, and more.
  • Multiple elective pathways and career tech program options provide middle and high school students with the opportunity to build academic skills and explore interests through engaging, hands-on learning experiences.
  • Through a thorough planning process and the opportunity to explore various interests that align with the high school academy courses, students experience a streamlined approach to planning for their futures.
