Curriculum & Instruction

Curriculum and Instruction is in charge of developing a comprehensive instructional program that fosters critical thinking and develops college and career ready students. This task impacts all students, English Learners, Career and Technical course and classroom teachers.

With a focus on rigorous and relevant academic initiatives, our vertical K-12 alignment supports core standards and programs that provide innovative and engaging learning experiences for students of all ages.

  • We facilitate an integrated approach to teaching Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) through the Project Lead the Way curriculum in classes from kindergarten through high school.
  • A variety of academic offerings are designed to meet the unique needs of all students through exceptional education, gifted education, Pre-AP and AP courses, English language development, dual enrollment, virtual learning, and more.
  • Multiple academy and career tech program options provide middle and high school students with the opportunity to build academic skills and explore interests through engaging, hands-on learning experiences. Current high school academy offerings include - Communication;  Hospitality & Tourism, featuring Culinary Arts; Engineering; Business Administration & Management; Finance; Fine Arts; Health Sciences; Law; Education & Training.
  • Through a thorough planning process and the opportunity to explore various interests that align with the high school academy courses, students experience a streamlined approach to planning for their futures.
